Reporting Glossary

Select desired metrics for your reports in the “Reports” section of the reporting UI.  A metric is a parameter or measure of numerical data.

Ad RequestsThe number of requests (Ad Calls) to a tag. On the supply side, this shows the number of ad calls our ad server received from a supply partner (player, ad server etc.). The request is the first step in Ad Serving. On the demand side, this shows how many ad calls our VPAID unit made to each campaign in the connection. See also: Ad opportunities & Ad requests.
Ad OpportunitiesThe number of VPAID responses (VPAID loads) to the ad requests. On the supply side, this number is a number of times our VPAID unit was loaded into the player. On the demand side, this shows the number of times advertisers responded with their VPAID units. See also: Ad opportunities & Ad requests.
Advertiser eCPMAdvertiser Effective CPM is an estimate of the revenue your advertiser received for every thousand ad impressions.
Formula: Advertiser revenue / Impressions Advertiser * 1000.
Advertiser RevenueGross Revenue for Advertisers.
Formula: Advertiser eCPM * Impressions Advertisers / 1000.
Channel eCPMChannel Effective CPM is an estimate of the revenue your publisher will receive for every thousand ad impressions.
Formula: Channel revenue / Impressions * 1000.
Channel RevenueChannel Revenue is NET revenue earned from direct advertisers or IndiCue Ad Network (the amount generated in total for a specific Channel).
Formula: Channel eCPM * Impressions / 1000.
Total RevenueGross Revenue.
Formula: Marketplace Revenue + Advertiser Revenue
eCPMThe effective CPM of total revenue divided by ad impressions.
Formula: Total Revenue / Impressions * 1000.
Fill Rate (Ad Ops)The percentage of ad opportunities that are served with ads (impressions) for a defined source.
Formula: Impressions / Ad opportunities * 100.
Fill Rate (Ad Req)The percentage of ad requests that are served with ads (impressions) for a defined source.
Formula: Impressions / Ad requests * 100.
InViewA count of the number of requests to an outstream unit when the unit is in a viewable zone.
Filtered Ad OpportunitiesA total number of bad (filtered) Ad Opportunities. The metric is available only at the Source level. More details.
Filter ImpressionsA total number of invalid (bad) impressions.
Filter Impressions, %Formula: Filtered Impressions / Impressions *100.
Total ImpressionsThe sum of Filtered Impressions and Impressions.
Paid Impressions, %(Good Impressions) Impressions which will be paid for.
Marketplace ImpressionsThe number of valid ads served from the IndiCue Marketplace.
Marketplace Impressions, %The percentage of total impressions generated from IndiCue Marketplace.
Formula: Marketplace Impressions / Impressions * 100.
Marketplace RevenueThe NET price VM will pay for the impressions generated at VM Marketplace. The bidding price for VM Marketplace will include the revshare internally
Formula: Marketplace eCPM * Marketplace Impressions / 1000.
Marketplace eCPMMarketplace Effective CPM is an estimate of the revenue earned from the IndiCue Marketplace for every thousand ad impressions.
Formula: Marketplace revenue / Impressions Marketplace * 1000.
ImpressionsA value that represents a video advertising unit that has been completely viewed or a video ad that has started
Impressions AdvertisersThe number of valid impressions received from Advertisers without Ad impressions received from Ad Network
Impressions Advertisers, %Formula: Impressions Advertiser / Impressions * 100
Impressions Bad Time to Event AverageThe average response time for an invalid (bad) impression.
Formula: impression bad tte / impression bad
Impressions Time to Event AverageThe average time between the Campaign Vpaid Unit load and Impressions
Formula: (impressions bad tte + impressions good tte) /(impressions good + impressions bad)
Campaign Position (avg)The average campaign position in the connection.
ClicksThe amount of clicks on advertisement.
Click-Through RateClick-Through Rate is a metric that measures the number of clicks your ad(s) receive per number of impressions.
Campaign Fix CPMFixed price of a campaign.
RTB
RTB Campaign ResponseNon empty", "non error" ad responses from advertiser endpoint. It means that the campaign takes part in the auction
RTB WinThe number of campaigns' wins in the auction
RTB Ad OpportunitySupplier followed our wrapper
BidsCampaign wins the auction of our ad server and its response is send to supplier.
BAD DETAILS
Missed Campaign RequestThe number of ad requests which were not received on the campaign level.
Missed Ad IdThe number of impressions received without the ad id.
Missed Campaign Ad OpportunityThe number of ad opportunities that were not received on the campaign level.
Missed Campaign CPMThe number of impressions with the invalid campaign CPM.
Missed Campaign IdThe number of impressions with the identifier that was not displayed in the Impression event.
Missed Campaign RequestThe number of ad requests which were not received on the campaign level.
Duplicate ImpressionsRepeated Impression event.
Referer MismatchDifferent referrers in the request and impression events.
User Agent MismatchDifferent user agents in the request and impression events.
IP MismatchDifferent IP Addresses defined during the ad request and ad impression events.
Invalid Ad ID FormatInvalid advertisement identification format.
CAMPAIGN ERRORS
Campaign Error Tech, %An error that occurs due to:
The XML load due to the network error or any other reason except for a Timeout.
In a case where there are more than 7 Wrappers in the campaign response.
The unit was loaded but an error occurs (the invalid code in the unit).
Campaign Error VAST Opt Out, %An error occurs due to an empty XML response.
Formula: Ad requests / Campaign Error VAST Opt Out
Campaign Error VAST Timeout, %An error that occurs due to a Timeout during the XML load. It means that the fixed time for XML response is up.
Formula: Ad requests / Campaign Error VAST Timeout
Campaign Error VPAID Opt Out, %An error that occurs due to:
Timeout between Ad Request and Impression Network error.
The Vpaid unit was not loaded.
The unit loads, but an error occurs.

VPAID EVENTS
Unit Bounce RateCounts the number of times the page is being closed while outstream unit is performing.
Completion RateThe percentage of all video ads (impressions) that played until completion.
Q1 net1st quartile viewed
Q2 net2nd quartile viewed
Q3 net3rd quartile viewed
Q4 net4th quartile viewed (video completed)
